In addition to our regular Saturday event, we will also host an exclusive preview of the exhibition on Thursday, January 24. This ticketed sneak peek will feature talks with the Sustenance artists and light dishes inspired by the exhibition from local chef Dylan McShan with a cider pairing from Houston Cider Company.
Dylan is an up-and-coming chef in the Houston restaurant scene. He has worked for Underbelly, Presidio, Ritual, and currently serves as Sous Chef at the newly-opened Eunice in Upper Kirby. Dylan is crafting a special menu inspired by the works of the Sustenance artists, providing and presenting his point of view in the form of one-of-a-kind bespoke dishes.
Houston Cider Co. is Houston's first production cidery. Their cider is minimally processed with no added sugars and uses a blend of apple juice from the Pacific Northwest chosen to find the ideal balance between aroma, flavor, and acidity.
