FLATS’ darkroom space offers a unique space in Houston for photographers to grow their photographic practice in a community setting.
Currently space is very limited, but we are accepting applications for all levels. Please follow link at the bottom of the page for application.
An application must be submitted for 24 Hour access or Unlimited Business Hour access. These members must also attend a walkthrough with FLATS’ Darkroom Manager.
24 Hour Access Members
$140 a month or $1,428 for the year (15% off)
15% off drop-off develop/scan orders

Reservation includes access to B&W and color darkrooms, B&W film developing station, Jobo station, and the digital darkroom which includes an epson V850 flatbed scanner, a copy stand digitizing station with Negative Supply Co. film carriers, and a Konica Minolta R1 scanner.
Lab hours depend on membership levels, day or night. All basic B&W chemistry is included. C41, E6, & R4 chemistry is BYOC (Bring Your Own Chemicals) or may be purchased from FLATS.
