Community Space Open House

Wedn, March 4th, 2026 / 6-8PM
FLATS / 2402 Montrose
Free + open to the public

On Wednesday night March 4th, we’re opening up the FLATS Community Darkroom for an evening of process, conversation and curiosity.

This is not a formal exhibition. It’s an open studio night where current and past members will share work made in our space including final prints, works in progress, and experiments. Think less gallery, more open table.

What to expect:

  • Free photogram demo

  • Member’s print sale

  • Time to wander, ask questions and explore the space

If you’ve ever been curious about the darkroom but didn't know where to start, this night is for you. If you already shoot film and want to take the next step by learning how to develop or print, this night is for you. If you just want to see how things are made, this night is for you too.

We’ll also have a community suggestion box where you can share:

  • A process you want to learn

  • Classes you would show up for

  • Questions you’ve been afraid to ask

  • Ideas for the future of the space

FLATS exists because people use it. This night is about opening up our doors to a wider community.
Come by. Hang out. Make something!
