Thursday, December 10, 2026, Eldorado Ballroom

A live telethon, variety show, cocktail hour, raffle, and celebrity karaoke—all supporting Houston’s independent arts community. Operators Are Standing By is a grassroots telethon and fundraiser bringing Houston’s creative community together for one unforgettable night.

This year, FLATS, Ice House Radio, WONDERLIKEWANDER, and Zine Fest Houston are joining forces to raise funds that help keep independent arts programming, spaces, publications, events, and creative opportunities thriving in Houston.

Inspired by classic television telethons, the night centers around a live variety show. The telethon will be performed in front of a live studio audience and streamed for viewers tuning in from home.

Join us early for Cocktail Hour, try your luck at more than 15 raffle prizes from Meow Wolf, Montrose Cheese & Wine, The Catastrophic Theatre, and more, and stick around after the telethon as we end the night with Celebrity Karaoke.
